Rolls-Royce Cullinan Key Features
Rolls-Royce's Cullinan is designed to break away from SUV stereotypes. It may be large and heavy, but it has the rigidity of an automobile body that gives the best performance in class on rough terrain.
It's also a great way to entertain guests. Owners can customize Recreation Modules to meet their needs of fly fishing, photography, horse riding, or whatever else interests them.
The Clasp

The Rolls-Royce Cullinan is Rolls-Royce as you've never seen it before. It's an SUV designed for people who accept no compromise - the patrons of true luxury.
The front of the car is the first thing that you see. It blends Rolls-Royce aesthetics with functional elements to convey power and intention. The vertical lines that run from the A-pillars, down the raised bonnet edge along the grille, and down into the metal skid plate below communicate the impression of sheerness and strength. The Spirit of Ecstasy badge and the Rolls-Royce badge are placed just a little higher than the line of wing to emphasize the SUV's inherent strength.
The three-across bench inside makes this the ideal family-friendly Rolls. A standard panoramic roof further increases the feeling of space and a glass partition divides rear passengers from the cargo space below. You can arrange the rear seats in a variety ways based on your personal requirements. For instance, if you're transporting valuable works of art or dinosaur fossils, the rear seats can be configured to fold flat into the floor of your cargo, creating a single, level load space that has 21 cubic feet of space.
When you aren't hauling your priceless artifacts or dinosaur fossils however, the rear seat can be fitted with what Rolls-Royce calls Recreation Modules. These modules can easily be inserted into the Cullinan's cargo area and permit owners to participate in a myriad of outdoor activities. With the push of a single button you can go fly-fishing, photography, horseback riding, snow-boarding base jumping, or volcano-boarding.
Rolls-Royce engineers developed the Cullinan SUV with a unique self-leveling system to ensure that it is able to be driven anywhere. The suspension is operated in real-time, completing millions of calculations each second to predict what the vehicle will encounter on any given drive. It then adjusts the ride height to meet the conditions the vehicle's height, making it comfortable and secure on any surface.
A rotary knob located next to the infotainment controls the suspension, the hill-descent control, and the Everywhere mode. This allows you to activate all the features mentioned above with a single press. You can also personalise your driving experience by selecting the vehicle's characteristics and ambience that suit your mood.
The Rear
Rolls-Royce's architecture is a core strength that allows the marque to create and engineer vehicles of various sizes, weight and power. This allows it to offer iconic design and a distinctive appearance with uncompromising comfort, space and usability and cutting edge technology that is exclusive to Rolls-Royce. Cullinan uses this base structure in an entirely new method. It takes advantage of its intrinsic functionality to produce the most modern SUV in its class.
The design is based on functional bases, with vertical and horizontal elements that express the inherent strength of Cullinan. From the front face of the grille and its 'eyebrow' daytime running lights, to the Saxon spear shape of the bonnet the rear fender vents and metal skid plate, the strength of the car is expressed in every angle.
The rear of the vehicle features an ode to its history and features a two-part tailgate called 'The Clasp' opening and closing with the click of a button. The Clasp is inspired by the past when luggage was mounted outside of the vehicle to allow the passengers to be lighter. It brings ease and convenience to the rear of a car.
Every aspect of the cabin is a perfect balance between authentic Rolls-Royce Luxury as well as simple, symmetrical functions. The dashboard is accentuated by the addition of hand-finished metal columns that frame the fascia and central stack. This adds a new dimension of intrigue, and gives it a purposeful feel. The front and rear coach doors are wrapped low under the sill, allowing passengers to descend the vehicle without scuffing their trousers. This is an innovative feature that only Rolls-Royce would think of.
Once they have reached the destination, passengers can sit back and relax in the Rolls-Royce's Pavilion Seating whilst enjoying grandstand views of their surroundings from the large side windows and the industry top panoramic glass roof. You can also zoom in on their exact location on the rear touchscreen map if they need to, or access a wealth of other entertainment and connectivity options that make the Rolls-Royce Cullinan the most sophisticated vehicle of its kind.
If the passengers require more time to relax, they can go to the garage and load one of the Recreation Modules into the back of the vehicle. These modules provide owners with various recreational activities they can take part in to further indulge in their interests.
The Glass Partition
In the past, owners of Rolls-Royce were accustomed to traveling with luggage. The trunk was a convenient location to store it. To make the car more comfortable, buyers can opt to have an open glass partition that separates the rear compartment from the luggage area. This makes the car more quiet and seals in the occupants to ensure that they're always comfortable, no regardless of where they are.
Cullinan has a built-in drinks cabinet that can be customized to meet the needs of every buyer. The fridge keeps bottles of champagne cold, and a set of champagne flutes from Rolls-Royce are provided. The cabin is also equipped with whiskey glasses as well as a decanter for those who like more smoky drinks.
The Cullinan SUV is a tall SUV that is capable of all-terrain driving. More Help is built on the same aluminium platform for its brand new Phantom limousine. This platform, known as "Architecture of Luxury" is designed to be able to accommodate future Rolls-Royces. It's said to provide the highest stiffness in the industry by avoiding steel, and allows for greater use of costly materials, such as sound deadening.
This architecture is also what allows the Cullinan to be as luxurious as possible on asphalt roads, while still providing off-road capabilities. The Cullinan has a maximum speed of 188km/h and can reach 213 metres. The car is powered by an 6.75 litre V12 engine that produces 850 Nm at 1,600rpm. It's coupled to an automatic transmission that offers all-wheel drive.
Rolls-Royce wanted to design an SUV that was unique and perfect for its customers. It was determined to take them to places that no Rolls-Royce owner has ever been before. It's a testament to the dedication of Rolls-Royce's customers and making their experience seamless, wherever. Mobility in the automotive industry is a dynamic and fast-paced industry. Innovative concepts, such as SUVs, are constantly being introduced. In order to be accepted they must be flawless.
The Everywhere Button
Rolls-Royce understood that its new generation of customers were looking to drive a car that was capable of providing their lives' most rewarding experiences. They didn't want the compromises that are often associated with SUVs, such as an increase in interior noise due to the traditional design of two-boxes; shared platforms which restrict performance and flexibility or only being good on or off-road. They wanted a Rolls-Royce with the legendary Magic Carpet Ride, even when it's off the beaten track.
Cullinan was the perfect solution. One touch of what's known as the Everywhere button, and Cullinan transforms from an SUV into an authentic luxury explorer. With it engaged the suspension transmission, transfer case, and throttle mapping are designed for off-road conditions. The engine produces massive amounts of torque even at low RPMs, allowing Cullinan to trudge through mud, gravel, or snow, with ease.
It also permits the driver to fine tune the off-road setting to create Cullinan glide over any terrain while retaining a high level of comfort, agility and safety. The self-leveling suspension runs millions of calculations every second based on acceleration inputs, steering inputs and camera data.
Cullinan's ability to traverse all terrains is further boosted by its four-wheel drive system that continuously monitors the surrounding environment to ensure the correct amount of torque is delivered to each wheel. Cullinan has cameras that detect stones, ruts, and other obstacles to warn you so you can avoid them.
When it is time to return to the paved road, pressing the door's opening button will see the rear and front coach doors wrapped low under the sill to ensure that dirt doesn't touch the actual sill of the door - yet another illustration of how Cullinan aims to be Effortless everywhere.
After the day's activities have ended, a simple press and you'll see two leather chairs and a cocktail table deploy from the luggage compartment, making the ideal space for guests and owners to relax and enjoy the view or watch a sporting event. The Bespoke viewing room is yet another way Cullinan strives to make luxury effortless Everywhere.
